Focus on “lightness”!

Unsprung weight is directly related to the vehicle's driving performance. In fact, many luxury cars use lightweight aluminum for parts that require strength, such as knuckle arms, to improve the tires' ability to follow the road surface, leading to ride comfort and excellent driving performance. Formula x damper focused on "lightness" and therefore the upper mount, upper seat, lower seat, and also the shell case are all made in "A6061" aluminum. Material that has strength towards hard impact, and excellent heat dissipation. Achieving significant weight reduction.
*The strut type uses steel material to ensure the necessary structural strength.

Commitment to “accuracy”

Adopts a dual-tube type with low friction loss*, and achieves sharp and stable handling with characteristics that focus on the rise of damping force in the ultra-low speed range.
We have adopted a dual-tube type that suppresses friction in each part, secures a stroke, and is advantageous for ride comfort (*Some front strut types use a single-tube inverted type).
In addition, the spring is made by BESTEX, a company that boasts a proven track record in numerous top category races. We pay particular attention to materials, precision, and painting, and we measure every item and assemble and ship them in combination with extremely small differences between the left and right sides. The rear of FR vehicles uses a primary spring, which uses a soft spring for city driving and a high rate spring for hard driving to improve cornering and traction performance.

With a front strut type damper, a rotational force is applied to the damper body when the steering wheel is operated, and a rotational force is also applied to the spring itself when it expands or contracts. Therefore, in addition to a dedicated thrust seat, the damper with the above structure uses an upper seat with a built-in bearing. This allows the spring to move more smoothly and also reduces noise.

Wide range of adjustments

The upper mount uses a pillow ball type that directly conveys road conditions, and a camber adjustment type is used for front strut type vehicles (some models use genuine products due to their structure), and the camber angle can be adjusted on the bracket part. It is possible to expand the range of change in camber angle by attaching various colors, and by changing the kingpin angle, it is possible to adjust the amount of change in camber angle during steering.

Product warranty overhaul

Guaranteed for within one year and less than 20,000km from purchase. We will respond based on our warranty regulations.

We can take care of it and disassemble it for overhaul.
